In my previous article: Success Strategies: Beyond the Law Of Attraction – Part 4″ I explained how we can how we can begin to work in harmony with the Law of Resonance to effect change at the level of our feelings. In this last “Success strategies: Beyond The Law Of Attraction” series, I explain the steps that we can follow to implement this change, and therefore permanently affect the results we are getting in our lives on a daily basis.

If you remember back to my third article in this series, I explained how every thought that we have triggers an emotion, and if we give that emotion our attention, it will go on to create a feeling. This feeling triggers other memories and feelings and all of this ultimately feeds our belief systems. It is not so much a case of “What we think about we bring about” as “Thoughts, which we give focus, energy and emotion to becomes our reality”. Remember I also talked about how our reality is not the reality, it is just the reality we have chosen to create for ourselves by applying our own subjective meaning to it. To change this self-perpetuating cycle of feelings triggering thoughts and emotions that feed our belief systems, we need to ‘break the chain’ and introduce a ‘pattern interrupt’. And we need to begin this process at the level of our conscious thought, because our thoughts are the things that we have most immediate control over. Here are some ways we can use to help us achieve that:

First, we can consume a daily diet of ‘positivity’ that will affect our thoughts at the conscious level. Surrounding ourselves with positive, like-minded individuals, reading inspirational books and motivational quotes will all have an incredibly powerful effect on our thoughts. Over time, repeated focus on these thoughts and this ‘reality will feed our feelings and cause our subconscious to tune in to a new ‘frequency’.

Second, we need to ‘feed’ our conscious minds on a daily basis, monitor our thoughts and then focus only on the good stuff coming out. Meditation is probably one of the most time honoured methods of achieving this. Allowing ourselves quiet space to monitor our thoughts has been proven to work over centuries. Other, equally effective methods include the use of positive affirmations, written or recorded affirmations that we repeat daily. A daily performance journal, focusing on only the positive things we have achieved that day is a method favoured by many athletes.

Third, we must eliminate emotions that do not serve us. We do that by consciously ‘changing the subject’ whenever we find ourselves running a conversation in our heads that is counter to what we desire. Remember an emotion is transitory. If we refuse to pay it any attention, it will pass.
